|Minimum number of student visits during your child’s school term. (Specific support assistance is available on arrival if a new student needs anything at all.) |
We visit our students twice formally during their first term at school, then once during the Spring and Summer terms, During our visits we will meet our student’s tutor and boarding house staff. Following our visits we will provide parents and agents with a report about the student’s academic development and welfare and happiness, based on our conversations with the school staff. Further visits can be arranged and regular informal visits happen throughout the school year.
|Regular weekly student contact and communication|
We use email, sms, WhatsApp, WeChat or phone call communication and speak regularly to our students using their preferred choice of communication. From when a student arrives in England to when they return home we enjoy an open and friendly relationship between us, our students and their school staff.
|Regular parent contact and communication on behalf of parent with schools and the host family|
We use email, phone and skype communication with parents. This will include a confirming safe arrival email to parents, we are available 24/7 during term time if parents have a request or concern they would like to share with us.
|Regular host-family communication and assistance|
We communicate regularly with our families and manage all aspects of selecting, meeting, checking and ongoing support of our host families ourselves. Our close relationships with our families means we can respond quickly to both planned and unexpected student stays.
|Emergency 24-hour support|
Emergency cards are given to all students at our first visit, these contain all the essential contact numbers a student will need, we operate a 24 hours on call phone service during term time and half term holidays for students to help them when the unexpected happens- whatever that may be
|Host family selection carefully matched to your child and their school location |
Our host families are within easy reach of our schools or in locations students request for the half term holidays. Parents receive a full photographic description of our hosts and their homes prior to the first stay. Our families are selected and managed using the AEGIS recommended guidelines
|Airport and host family transport (including Unaccompanied Minors support) |
We arrange safe and reliable transport between airports, schools and host families. All our drivers are DBS checked and hold the correct insurance. For younger students our drivers provide a check in and ‘meet and greet’ service.
|Host family Management includes security checks and on going safeguarding training and re inspections|
All family members age 16 years + will be enhanced DBS security checked for our students protection and we hold two references on your child’s primary carer. Annual inspections of host families and student facilities are carried out. Host families receive a comprehensive induction process including manuals, training and policies and they are encouraged to take online Child protection training if they wish.
|Communication and administrative support|
Our comprehensive assistance with administration includes: Travel arrangements, communicating with the school, opening a bank account, health clinician support, responding and replying on behalf of a parent to school mail and administrative requests and and assisting students .
|Optional Academic Support and Mentoring|
We arrange tutoring sessions during the short holidays, our teachers are experienced and work closely with schools to provide study support, please contact us for further details.
|School event attendance|
We will attend important school events and meetings throughout the school year and speak to school staff on behalf of parents.
|Teacher conference attendance and follow up report|
We attend all Teacher Conferences and will send a follow up report to parents. We are able to support both parents and students by offering impartial advice and feedback. If needed, we can offer personally tailored tuition with our network of experienced teachers to help a student achieve their academic aims and ambitions.
|School and Open day attendance|
We can provide objective advice about next steps be it new schools or subject choices that can be taken in the Sixth Form or university advice .
|Optional Half term Specialist Courses arrangements|
We can arrange personally tailored tuition during the short holidays with a network of tutors who are qualified to teach study skills, critical thinking and a range of A Level and IB subjects. Please contact us for further details.
Our Fees are for one exceptional year of service and deliver complete transparency and are fully inclusive at £2,000.
We can offer a reduced package of services with no variation in quality to European and older Independent students.
Service fees incur a VAT charge of 20%
Our Guardianship services are available for a term as well as the full school year.
The following expenses may apply to your child
Our fees include all of services except the cost of staying with a host family, transfers and emergencies. These will be paid through the deposit account (£1,000) which we will hold for your child.
A detailed statement of spending will be sent out at the end of the Summer term.
A deposit of £1,000 for boarding students will be credited to your child’s expense account, this is required prior or on arrival in UK. Any monies remaining in the account when a student leaves will be reimbursed to the family during the four weeks following a child leaving (less any outstanding services expenses including transfers.)
The following charges will be made as required during the holidays and at start and end of the school terms and will be deducted from the balance of your child’s expense account:
